Shield of the Republic goes independent
After five years of sponsorship by the Bulwark and the Miller Center at the University of Virginia, Eric Edelman and I are striking out on our own, with a newly independent Shield of the Republic. There is more however.
We will be continuing our free weekly podcast. But for a modest sum you can subscribe (via Substack) to Shield. In addition to supporting the expenses of the podcast, we will be adding a lot of additional content, to include book reviews, hot takes (both video and written) on breaking events, conversations, free articles by both of us, news of events that we will be launching.
I will stop posting articles and word of individual episodes of SotR here. I am very grateful that many of you have offered to pay for this Substack, and am now willing to take you up on the offer, but also to give more in return. You can reach us and subscribe at:
